Winifred I. Griffin, age 78, of Powder Springs passed away Monday, January 20, 2014. Services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 2 pm in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Chaplain Ron Daniel officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park.
Mrs. Griffin is preceded in death by her husband, W.H. Griffin and is survived by her daughters: Dana Newton of Smyrna, Sharon and Mark Chunn of Powder Springs and Kelly Webb of Kennesaw; 3 sisters: Minnie Lee Williams, Martha Spake and Lorraine Horton all of Bremen; 3 brothers: Roy Rowland of Douglasville, Lamar Rowland of Alabama and Horace Rowland of Bremen; 4 grandchildren: Kristen Chunn, Michael Chunn, Victoria Webb and Amanda Webb.
She was of the Baptist faith and formerly employed with Tingue Brown.
Memorial Donations may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation or to WellStar Community Hospice at Tranquility.
