William David "Butch" Wagner, age 60, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Monday, April 26, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 30, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Bryan Bloye, Ken Barr and Jeff Pruett officiating. He was preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Alice Wagner.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Butch moved to Georgia in 1978. He attended Southern Tech where he was in the Sigma Nu fraternity and obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Kennesaw State University. He worked in Information Technology at Home Depot for the past 20 years. Butch was a member of West Ridge Church in Dallas, GA.
Butch enjoyed spending time at his home on Lake Sinclair boating with his family. He was an avid baseball fan especially the Braves. He genuinely cared for people and strangers quickly felt like friends. Butch's love for his family was the most important part of his life.
Survivors include: wife of 35 years, Carol Wagner; 3 children, Cason Wagner, Dallas, GA, Allyson (Jon-Michael) Craze, Nashville, TN and David Michael Wagner, Denver, CO; granddaughter, Lindy Craze, Nashville, TN; brother, Lawrence (Teresa) Wagner, Mayslanding, NJ and many nieces and nephews.
