William P. Tilson, 74, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC with Air Force military honors. A Memorial Service will be held October 15, 2016 at the Myrtle Beach Train Depot from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM located at 851 Broadway Street Myrtle Beach SC 29577.
A native of New Jersey, Mr. Tilson spent many years in Myrtle Beach South Carolina and had recently moved to Georgia to stay with his son. Mr. Tilson was a member of the Great Strand Model Rail Roaders Club and he loved trains, golfing and fishing. He is survived by his two children, Rick Tilson and Karen Pearce and one grandchild: Wes Tilson. West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
