William Verner Pritchard

William Verner "Bill" Pritchard, age 86, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at 2pm at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn, Georgia.

Born in Union City, GA, Mr. Pritchard lived most of his life in Cobb County. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from Shirley of Atlanta after 20 years of employment, and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Pritchard, a son, Bryan Pritchard, a granddaughter, Morgan Pritchard Oller, and siblings, Jimmy Pritchard, Tommy Pritchard, Sue Pritchard Ballew and Alice Callaway.

Special thanks to Nacole Kight and Deniece Kimmons of the VA for making sure he had everything he needed and taking care of Bill for the past many years, and also to his home health care ladies - who supplied companionship and care and made each day fun and interesting - from going junk store shopping to learning French words and surprising his family with “Bon Jour ya’ll”

Survivors include: Daughter, Hope (David O'Malley) Burns, Euharlee, GA; 2 Granddaughters, Lauren Pritchard and Hailey Pritchard, and their mother, Mitze (Jim) Hester; 4 Great Grandchildren, Montana Oller, Ryker Oller, Sebastian Oller, and Waylon Oller; 3 Siblings, Marvin (Barbara) Pritchard, Carolyn Fetterolf and Betty Jane Ballew, and his beloved granddogs, Rocky and Yogi, and many Nieces and Nephews.
