William Theodore Pause

Mr. William Theodore Pause, age 91, of Acworth passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, September 6 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Deacon Reed officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Pause moved from Norwood, New Jersey to Boca Raton, Florida and then to Acworth 12 years ago. Mr. Pause was a retired banker and a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was of the Roman Catholic Faith.

He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Thomas J. Dempsey, his parents, Harry and Anna Pause, his brother, Harry Pause and sisters: Anna Bologna and Eleanor Titus.

Survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Gloria Diana Pause; children: Sandra Pause Dempsey, Lynch Station, VA; William E. Pause and his wife, Sheila, Powder Springs, GA; six grandchildren: Noreen Dempsey, Christine Dempsey Jisha; Suzanne Dempsey, Kimberly Pause Tucker, William A.
