Mr. William Ossei was known as Willie, Bantamahene. Some also referred to him as Ossei London. Mr. Ossei was born in January 30th, 1950 in Kumasi, Ghana. He was the son of Abenaa Drowaa and late Opanin Yaw Bempah. He was survived by 5 children namely: Mrs. Jenette Ossei Adinkra, Jennifer Issei, Sylvia Ossei, Prince Ossei and Nadine Nana Ama Ossei also had 9 grandchildren namely; Ahanti Disu, Abby Adinkrah, Janelle Ossei Danso, Jeada Ossei Danso, Janet Ossei Danso, Joshua Ossei Danso, Aubrey Aka, Princeton Ossei, Skyler Ossei.
Education and Civil Service
He graduated from Ahamadiyah Secondary School in Kumasi and worked at Ghana Cocoa Marketing Board in Tamale. He left Ghana for London and later proceeded to the United States of America in 1982. He met his lifelong and cherished wife, Mary Ama Ewudziwa Aggrey in New York in 1986. The young couple got married on February 14,1987. After which his wife Mary moved to Atlanta to join her husband. He attempted to secure a degree in software engineering at DeVry University in Atlanta, Georgia. He rather opted to move on and create a limousine company (Mary's Limousine) which he named after his wife. He also open a new/used fire shop in Mableton Georgia.
Mr. Ossei is known and will be remembered for his work ethics. He was a very hardworking man who proudly struggled to secure a good life for his family. Not only was the departed a devoted family man who took real care of his wife and children, his loving kindness to people outside family is known of all.
Mr. Ossei was generous beyond measure; he was spontaneous in assisting people he barley knew. Another trait of character linked to his name was his sense of humor. His jokes and jovial attitude is what most people will remember of him.
He transitioned on May9th, 2021 in Accra while visiting family members. He will be deeply missed by all those who come in contact with him. May his soul rest in peace.
