William Melton

Mr. William Morris “Bud” Melton, Sr., age 70, of Powder Springs passed away Friday, May 13, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, May 17th, in the chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Talmadge Crawford and Rev. John Mays officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.



A lifelong Resident of Cobb County, Mr. Melton worked for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company for 35 years before retirement. He attended Bible Church of God in Union City, and enjoyed coaching and watching his sons and grandchildren in football and baseball, and was also an avid race fan.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 9pm, and Monday from 6pm to 9pm.
