William "Will" Earl Long III

William "Will" Earl Long, III, age 37, of Austell, Georgia passed away on December 10, 2022. Services will be held on Friday December 16, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Visitation gathering for family and friends will begin at 12:00 pm. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm.

William was a lifelong resident of Cobb County and attended South Cobb High School, where his family and friends lovingly knew him as "Will". From an early age, Will always had a passion for cars, and he spent many years working in the auto industry. William always had a kind heart and radiated the kind of energy that naturally attracted people to him with his charisma. He seemingly never met a stranger, and he loved to make people laugh.

Will was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" E. Long, Jr., his grandmothers Joyce Summers, Linda Long, and Estelle Cromer, grandfathers Ray Summers and Lee Dudley, and his cousin Korey Puckett.

Those left to cherish his memories include his mother Melinda Long, sisters Christy (Blake) Barron and Jessica Long, nieces Genevieve Barron and Lorelei Barron, grandfather W. Earl Long, Sr., as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family members.
