William Richard Hunt, Jr.

William Richard “Bill” Hunt, Jr., age 87, of Dallas passed away Monday, May 9, 2016. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Payne and Rev. Tom Payne officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. Mr. Hunt attended West Georgia College and he retired from Delta airlines in 1993. He then went back for four additional years before retiring a second time. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Mr. Hunt was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church and was a former Deacon at Fair Oaks Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his son, William Richard Hunt III. Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Payne Hunt of Dallas, GA; his children, Elizabeth Dalmira Hunt of Onancock, VA and John Robert (Michelle) Hunt Sr. of Dallas, GA; Grandchildren, John Robert Hunt, Jr., Joshua Milton Hunt, William Joseph Hunt and David Myers Hunt.
