William Marvin Harris

William Marvin Harris, age 95, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away November 9, 2023. Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, GA with Rev. Alan Davis officiating.

Bill was an Army Veteran of the Korean War in which he was awarded the Occupation Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and the Bronze Service Award.  He retired from AT&T with 44 years of service.  He was a lifelong Braves fan. He seldom missed a chance to watch a game.  Bill loved his family, God, and his country.  He was married for 66 years to his wife, Charlotte, who passed away on September 18, 2018.  He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Lee Sullivan of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Clyde Wade of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Jared and Michelle Holland, Kalyn and Brandon Graham, Mitchell and Courtney Wade; great- grandchildren, Jackson and Mason Graham, Alex and Devon Harris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
