William Donald Fowler

William Donald Fowler, age 84, of Marietta, Georgia passed away August 11, 2021. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with the memorial service at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Marietta, GA.Interment will be held on September 3rd at 3:00 PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents W.T. and Lemma Fowler and his brother Guinn.

Don was a native of Postelle, TN and has lived the last 56 years in Marietta, GA. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Don was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Marietta, GA. He worked 34 years at Atlantic Steel in Atlanta, GA. Don enjoyed playing golf with his golfing buddies as well as riding his motorcycle. He was a devoted husband and father and treasured his granddaughters and his grandsons.

Survivors include: wife of 64 years: Carole Ensley Fowler of Marietta, GA; son: Scott (Julie) Fowler of Calhoun, GA; daughter: Lydia (Adam) Mandel of Summerville, SC; five granddaughters; two great-grandsons; sister-in-law: Jeanne Fowler and several nieces and nephews.
