William (Bill) Jonathan Dixon Jr, age 91 of Dallas Georgia, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020.
He was a Christian, a great husband and father who loved his family. His hobbies ran from aviation to painting. He received his private pilot license at age 17, enlisted in the Air Force at 20, attended Tennessee Wesleyan and Georgia State. He was a custom home builder and a commercial real estate broker. He believed in honesty and integrity, always doing his best to guide his family in that direction.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William (Bill) and Nettie Dixon; his wife, Betty Janel Dixon. He is survived by his son, William "Mark" Dixon; his daughters, Carla "Jan" Medlin and Sheila Elaine Dixon; his grandchildren, Chad Medlin, Jessica Mathis, Courtney Barrow and Jonathan Dixon; and sisters Nettie Elrod and Vera White, along with five great grandchildren.
Due to strict Covid-19 requirements, there can only be a small grave side service for the immediate family at North Georgia National Cemetery near Canton Georgia. This service is being scheduled on or about Thursday, August 13th.
