William Dudley Dixon, Sr.

William Dudley Dixon, Sr. age 68 of Powder Spring, GA and Severna Park, MD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was known for his quick wit and jovial laugh. He is survived by his wife Bonnie Mason Dixon, sons Lindsay Dixon and wife Julie, W. Dudley Dixon JR and wife Kellay, step children J. Brian Mason and wife Pon, Jill Mason Alford and Andrew G. Mason. He had eleven grandchildren, Tucker and Mack Alford, Jessica, Parker, Lily and Logan Dixon, Vanessa, Courtney and Sabrina Mason, and Drew and Chloe Mason. He is survived by siblings: Clair Dixon, Molly Merkert, Beth Connor, John Dixon, Paula Dixon and families of all MD. A large and loving family who will miss him dearly.

There will be a reception here in Marietta on Wednesday, April 19th at the home of Jill Alford at 1933 Stone Bridge Lane, from 4pm until 6pm, and a later funeral in Maryland. He was a member of Marietta Kiwanis Club. An online guest book is available at www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
