William Benjamin Bone

William Benjamin Bone, Jr., age 91, of Smyrna, GA passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Graveside Services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Foster officiating. For those attending the service, we will meet at the main entrance to the cemetery at 10:45am, 1680 Westview Drive, Atlanta.
Born in Atlanta, Mr. Bone retired from Lockheed as a Data Processor in the payroll department. He was a graduate of Oglethorpe University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree, was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during WWII and the Korean War. He was active in the Smyrna and West Cobb Senior Centers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline Bone, and 2 sons, Jim and Bruce.
Survivors include: 2 Sons, Tom Bone and wife Lisa, Douglasville, GA and Bob Bone and wife Wanda, Middlesex, NC; 4 Grandson, Ben, Robert, Daniel and Andrew Bone.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cobb County Humane Society. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6pm until 8pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Online guest book @ www.westcobbfuneralhome.com .
