Wayne McKendree

Wayne Marvin McKendree, 79, passed November 21, 2022. He is survived by his wife Nancy McKendree, sons Joey McKendree, Allen McFall and Scott McFall, sister Elaine Hubbell (Craig), brother Jerry McKendree (Bobbie), 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father James Daniel McKendree Sr, mother Eva Lucille McKendree, brothers James Daniel McKendree Jr and Randall McKendree.

Wayne was a native of Florida. After serving 2 years in the Army stationed in Vietnam he relocated to Georgia where he met his wife Nancy. His career lead him into the commercial construction industry where he started his own company, Wayne McKendree Contractors Inc. He retired after a hard fought battle with cancer due to Agent Orange that he was exposed to in Vietnam.

Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing and gardening. He especially enjoyed his yearly visits to Maine with his granddaughter Lauren McFall Nichols and great grandson Jaxson Nichols.

Wayne was involved with the Georgia Vietnam Veterans Alliance where he was able to swap stories with his war hero brothers.
