Wayman Earl Barnett

Wayman Earl Barnett, age 82, of Smyrna passed away December 14, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 17 at Floyd Road Baptist Church, Austell with Reverend Keith Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park, Marietta.
Mr. Barnett worked for Yellow Freight before retiring and was a veteran of the United States Army. He and his family are active members of Floyd Road Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harvey Shelby and Minnie Lee Barnett and infant son, Michael Wayman Barnett and is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jean Barnett; children: Frank (Cathy) Barnett of Austell; Marilyn (Greg) Cowart of Woodstock; sisters: Corine Cooper of Rossville, Mary (CL) Daniel of Rossville, Faye (Harold) Donahue of Chattanooga, TN, Betty (Floyd) Ray of Jonesboro, 2 grandchildren: Alicia Dawn (David) Hannon of Marietta and Michael Gregory Cowart of Woodstock.
Flowers are accepted or donations can be made in Wayman Barnett’s memory to Floyd Road Baptist Church, 3996 Floyd Road, Austell, GA 30106.
