Walter M. Hrinsin, age 72, Union County Georgia resident, passed away peacefully Saturday May 8, 2021 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. He was born January 11, 1949 in Warren, OH, the son of Walter G. and Virginia R. Hrinsin.
Walter was a 1967 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and attended Albright College in Reading, PA. He was married to his childhood sweetheart of 51 years, Karen Whitman Hrinsin. He was a lifelong Christian and active in the communities in which he lived. He retired to the mountains of Northern Georgia after 31 years of service with Frito-Lay in Palm Beach County, Florida. After retirement, he kept himself involved at his part-time job at the Ingles Market in Blairsville, GA.
Precious memories of Walter live on with his wife, Karen; his children: Nathan A. Hrinsin (Amy) of Kennesaw, GA; Shelley L. Price (Aaron) of Villa Rica, GA; and 4 grandchildren (Aidan, Abigail, Alexa and Logan); sister, Suzanne H. Barr (Ronald) of Scottsdale, AZ; brother, John M. Hrinsin (Elizabeth) of Avon Lake, OH.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
