Walter Ferguson

Walter Ferguson, age 92, of Marietta passed away April 27, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Rev. Will Sloan and Dr.. Vermon Parmer officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.

Mr. Ferguson moved to the area in 1943 from Lincolnton, Ga where he was employed with Bell Bomber and then was employed by Atlanta Linen where he retired in 1990 after 45 years of service. He was a member of Fair Oaks United Methodist Church in Marietta which he loved and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing Bingo at McDonalds and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his Wife, Mary Edna Ferguson; Daughter, Helen Elizabeth Rowe; Sister, Evelyn Smalley; Brothers, Jack Ferguson, Hammond Ferguson, Alex Ferguson Sr. and Hugh Allen Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson is survived by his Daughter, Linda Lee (Andrew) Lehmann; Son in law, John Rowe; Sister, Margaret McDowell; Grandchildren, Tracy (Vermon) Parmer and Sonya Kovalchick; Great Grandchildren, Jason, Michael and Johnathan Parmer and six Great Great Grandchildren.
