Walter Howard Bailey Jr.

Walter Howard Bailey, age 63, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Monday, December 7, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 14, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park.

Born in Atlanta, Mr. Bailey lived in Powder Springs for many years before moving to Dallas, GA in 2001. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, having served four years. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Kennesaw State University, and was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Mr. Bailey retired from General Electric after over 10 years of employment, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and loved bass fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Marie Bailey, in 2008.

Survivors include: 3 Sons, Matthew Bailey, Dallas, GA, Clinton (Jennifer) Bailey, Hiram, GA and Nathan Bailey, Dallas, GA; 2 Brothers, Jeffery (Nancy) Bailey, Athens, GA and Chris Smith, Dallas, GA; Step Mother, Betty Brown Smith, Dallas, GA; Beloved Dog, Tyson, and many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
