Wallace Milton Martin

Wallace Milton Martin, age 73, of Austell, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, October 11, 2013 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Randy Cheek and Dr. Marion Beaver officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta.

A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mr. Martin worked as a tool and die machinist for Scripto in Atlanta for over 30 years. Afterward, he worked at Medical Disposables in Marietta for 10 years, and then worked with his son-in-law at Compound Technologies in Cartersville. He was a lifelong member of Olive Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Martin; children, Karen (David) Harrison, Marietta, GA, Kevin Martin, Dallas, GA, Kim (Jimmy) Bennett, Woodstock, GA and Kathy (Paul) Wilson, Cartersville, GA; brothers, Doyle Martin, Powder Springs, GA and Michael Martin, Winston, GA and grandchildren, Victoria, Evan, Alex, Matthew, Rose and Emily.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2pm until 4pm and 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
