Virginia Louise Williams

Virginia Louise Williams, age 101, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Richard Hemphill and Rev. Mark Conner officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Williams moved to Powder Springs 11 years ago from Dallas, GA. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for several companies, including Kay Jewelers, Revco Drug Stores, and RaceTrac. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Oscar Williams, in 2011, a daughter-in-law, Sharon Burdette, and a son-in-law, Glen Aldrich.

Survivors include: 3 Children, Kelly (Brent) Whitaker, Powder Springs, GA, Paul (Diane) Burdette, Fayetteville, GA, and Steve Burdette, Fayetteville, GA; 2 Step Children, Lynn (Deana) Williams, Dallas, GA, and Sharon Aldrich, Quilcene, WA; 9 Grandchildren, Amanda Whitaker, Powder Springs, GA, Georgia Williams, Smyrna, GA, Lindsay Owens, Dallas, GA, Nathan Williams, Bristol, TN, Calvin Williams, Kennesaw, GA, Shelby Garner, Fayetteville, GA, Tony Burdette, Fayetteville, GA, Leland Burdette, Winston, GA, and Felicia Burdette-Hayes, Douglasville, GA; 19 Great Grandchildren.
