Virginia Shuler, of Powder Springs, Georgia, passed away January 10, 2024 after a brief illness. As a young woman she began working at Coats & Clark, in Clarkdale, GA for a tenure of 18 years, during which time she met and married her husband, Grady, a union that lasted from July, 1948 until November of 2019, almost 72 years. She loved her family, and her husband, children and grandchildren were the center of her world. A lifelong Christian with unwavering faith, she taught us to love and to forgive, and for that we are all blessed.
Survived by her son, Aubrey (Julie Beals), of Nashville, TN, and daughter, Linda Withrow (Ken)) of Marietta, GA, four grandchildren, Eric Shuler (Julie) of Springfield, IL., Melissa Grigdesby of Powder Springs, GA, Kyle Withrow of Atlanta, GA and Tia Withrow of Columbia, SC, along with six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her loving and devoted extended family of Charles and Pam Van Dyke, and Shirley and Gary Nelson, and June Rainwater.
Funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, January 14th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Powder Springs Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powder Springs, GA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
