Vincent Gerald Molley, age 53, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 9:30am on Friday, November 8, 2013, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4300 King Springs Road, Smyrna, GA.
Vincent Gerald Molley was born on Sunday, October 16, 1960 in Accra, Ghana. His parents were the late Gabriel Kofi and Henrietta Yvonne Molley.
He had his elementary education at New Era Preparatory School in Accra, after which he attended St. Augustine’s Secondary School in Cape-Coast, where he studied for his General Certificate of Education {GCE} Ordinary and Advanced Levels.
Vincent travelled to Nigeria in 1982 where he pursued an Aeronautical Engineering degree at the Nigerian College of Aviation, a foremost aviation training institution in the West African sub-region, in Zaria, Kaduna State. Vincent was a brilliant student that graduated Cum Laude. He worked with Ghana Airways as a flight engineer.
He migrated to the United States in 1993 and settled in New York. He later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.
In February 2012, Vincent was diagnosed with stage four (4) lung cancer, to which he succumbed on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the age of 53.
Vincent is survived by his wife, Franice, six children, Hermish Addotey, Yvonne Dzifa Molley, Gerald Todejo Molley, Seylom Molley, KaMaury Delalum Molley and KaMyia Delali Molley.
His surviving siblings are, Francesca Awotwi, Beatrice Molley-Atiedu, Agnes Victoria Molley, Theresa Augustt, Helena Schmitt, Benedicta Molley-Bohn, Joachim Molley, Rosalie Ewald, Frederick Molley, Gabriel Molley and Agossu Agblevon.
Vincent also leaves behind an uncle, and a host of aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
