Vincent (Vinh) Le, age 20, of Marietta, Georgia passed away July 17, 2020
Vincent was born in California and spent a little more than half of his life growing up in Georgia where he made many lifelong friends and memories. He loved playing video games with his close friends, practicing the guitar and violin, and doing cool tricks on a skateboard. Vincent especially felt at peace while hiking and camping in nature. He graduated from Lassiter High School in 2017. Vincent attended several Buddhist retreats at Truc Lam Monastery in 2013-2014 and Deer Park Monastery in 2017.
In the words of Deer Park Monastery's founder, Thich Nhat Hanh, "When we lose someone we love, we should remember that the person has not become nothing. 'Something' cannot become 'nothing,' and 'nothing' cannot become, 'something.' Science can help us understand this, because matter cannot be destroyed-it can become energy. And energy can become matter, but it cannot be destroyed. In the same way, our beloved was not destroyed; he has just taken on another form. That form may be a cloud, a child or the breeze. We can see our loved one in everything."
Vincent is survived by his ever so loving parents, Philip and Nancy Le; his loving older sister, Jade Le; and his extensive family in California and Vietnam.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, the family encourages you to share your fond memories, photos, or videos of Vincent on the tribute wall and to keep him close to your hearts.
