Vida Clementina Johnson

Vida Clementina Johnson, (Miss. Vida) Age 88, of Pisgah, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, was called home to be with the Lord in Kennesaw, Georgia on April 7, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on April 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the New Testament Church of God in Pisgah, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, followed by Interment at 3pm in the Family Plot.



Born in Pisgah, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, Miss Vida worked for the Ministry of Education as a pre-school Teacher. She also taught adult education, a program developed to fight illiteracy in all ages. She had a passion for combatting illiteracy. She was very active in her church ministry where she reached out to feed the hungry and the homeless. After retiring from teaching, Miss Vida resided in the United States where she initially spent the first 8-10 years working in New York and New Jersey as a Certified Home Health Aide. She finally retired after her husband passed away in 1999 and spent the rest of her time here in the United States and Canada visiting her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Icilda Johnson (NY)



14-Grandchildren:

Nadine, Kimberly, Melissa, Stephanie, Amelia, Camille, Ashley, Nicolette, Anthony, Andrew, Richard, Ishmael and Evon and host of great-grandchildren
