Tommie Hobby Hicks

Tommie Hobby Hicks, age 85, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Monday, April 19, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 23, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Bishop Grant Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.

Born in Braxton, GA, Ms. Hicks moved to Marietta in 1967. She worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses, including Alexander Seawall, Sigman Gutters, Thorpe Enterprises and Dr. Gerson Orthopedics. She was a member of Open Bible Tabernacle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. and Euna Mae Hobby, a sister, Frances Ledbetter and her husband Glenn, a brother, Billy Hobby and his wife Shelby, a son, Derrick Hicks and his wife Elaine, and 2 grandchildren, Nathaniel and Nicolas Cox.

Survivors include: 5 children, Robert (Doni) Hicks, Ocala, FL, Joy (Larry) Cox, Dallas, GA, Trish Fortner, Marietta, GA, Tommy Kent Hicks, Marietta, GA and Beth (William) Sigman, Jacksonville, AL; sister, Redona (Robert) Hicks, Ocala, FL; 15 grandchildren, Anthony, Johanna, Michael, Janette, Donnie, Abbie, Jake, Lacie, Natalie, Ritche, Kelly, Brittany, Bradley, Katie and Kinsey; 25 Great Grandchildren.
