Timothy Brian Heaney, age 55, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 7, 2018 at McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church in Powder Springs with Rev. Cindy Blocksidge officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
A native of Michigan, Tim moved to the Atlanta area in 1982 and to Powder Springs in 2002. He worked as a manager with John Wieland Homes for 19 years before starting his own business, Heaney Remodeling, in 2008. He was a member of McEachern Memorial United Methodist Church, and an active coach and supporter of his kids’ sports and activities. He was a lifelong learner, a lover of history, an avid University of Michigan sports fan, and a friend to everyone he met.
