Thelma Brown Bearden

Thelma Brown Bearden, age 86, of Mableton, GA, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday, April 1, 2012, in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Road, Marietta, GA with Rev. Birch Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta at 4pm. A native of Dublin, GA, Mrs. Bearden was formerly employed as a seamstress at Rafers, Inc. and retired from Stoffer Waverly at Cumberland. She was a member of Calvary Holiness Church in Atlanta. Mrs. Bearden was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Bearden in 1972. Survivors include her children, Wayne Bearden of Douglasville, GA, Brenda Bearden of Alexandria, VA, Peggy Hones of Marietta, GA and Wanda Bishop of Dallas, GA; siblings include Allene Brown of Greenville, SC, Raymond Brown of Tallahassee, FL and Felton Brown of Chicago, IL; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
