Sue Bailey

Thelma Sue Bailey, age 81, of Austell, GA passed away March 1, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 5, 2018 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Richard Walker and Mr. Collin Brady officiating. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta. Born in Fannin County, Mrs. Bailey lived in Austell for most of her life. She was a talented artist, and taught painting for 45 years. She was a member of the Dogwood Chapter of the Atlanta Society of Decorative Painters, and a member of Macland Baptist Church. She also published over 20 decorative art books during her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Bailey. Survivors: 3 Sons, Fred (Beth) Sherman, Roswell, GA, Ronnie (Karen) Sherman, Dallas, GA and Bobby (Paula) Sherman, Austell, GA; Half Siblings, Gary, Steve, Janie, Robbie and Johnnie Kay; 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or church in Sue Bailey's memory.
