Terry Keith Garmon

Terry Keith Garmon, age 65, of Austell, Georgia passed away June 6, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, Georgia with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

A native of Atlanta, Mr. Garmon lived in Austell for over 50 years. He worked for Georgia Power Company 42 years as a Lineman for many years and was a Substation Operator before he retired. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved NASCAR, snow skiing and the beach. Terry loved making people laugh and he was a proud grandfather. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie E. Garmon, Shirley A. Elkins, stepfather Doyle Elkins, and a sister Pamela (Hilbish) Garmon.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Teresa L Garmon, Austell, GA, and his son, Terry J Garmon, Holly Springs, GA Grandkids: Terry D Garmon, Caleb J Garmon, Tyler J Garmon and Chloe G Garmon, Holly Springs Georgia and Sister: Deborah Garmon Graham, Toney, Alabama Nephew: Brian (Tara) McArthur, Madison, Alabama, Niece: Atina (Nathan) Hasty, Ellenton, Florida, and several Great Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm and Monday, June 12, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
