Terry Addington

Terrance Wain "Terry" Addington, age 68, of Acworth, Georgia passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Pastor Randy Sells officiating. A Private Interment will follow on Thursday, October 14th at Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Dora, Alabama.

A native of Seattle, WA, Mr. Addington moved to Georgia in 2006 from Illinois. He was the former Chairman of CTIA Wireless Association in Washington, DC, the President and CEO of First Cellular of Southern Illinois, then retired as Chairman and CEO of SI Wireless of Tennessee. Terry loved spending time with his family and studying history, especially WWII, and was an avid Seattle Seahawks and Mariner's fan.

Survivors include: Wife of 33 years, Cindy Addington; 2 Daughters, Lea (Mike) Alvarez, Dallas, GA and Callie Addington, Acworth, GA; 2 Sisters, Sue Knowles, St. Augustine, FL and Cindy (Clyde) Wade, Reno, Nevada; Grandson, Lucas Wain Alvarez, Dallas, GA and several Nieces and Nephews.
