Teresa Jean Farmer

Teresa Jean Farmer, age 70, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 12, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Bill Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Ms. Farmer worked in the insurance industry for 51 years. She retired as a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager with Yates Insurance Agency after 22 years of employment. She was a member of Doss Memorial Baptist Church in Powder Springs, and enjoyed cooking so much that she operated her own catering business.

Survivors include: Son, Douglas E. Farmer, Dallas, GA; Daughter, Crystal D. Farmer, Powder Springs, GA; Sister, Darlene Aikens, Powder Springs, GA; Brother, Michael D. Hutcheson, Rockmart, GA; Grandson, Nathan G. Farmer, Powder Springs, GA.
