Tammy W. Gilbert, age 55, of Powder Springs passed away Thursday, October 30, 2014. Funeral Services will be held at 7 pm on Sunday, November 2 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, Marietta with Rev. Michelle Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Tammy was a care giver by profession but was also a care giver by heart. She loved her kids and loved being a “baseball mom.”
She is preceded in death by her son, Clint Gilbert and is survived by her mother, Nellie Wood of Marietta; 2 sons: Nicholas Walker and Jared Walker both of Powder Springs; brother, Ronnie Wood of Marietta; niece, Rebecca Wood Lee; nephew, Matthew Wood and great-nephew, Emery Lee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you bring your fondest memory of Tammy to share with her family on Sunday evening.
