Tamara Fountain

Tamara Louise "Tammy" Fountain, age 56, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Tommy Young and Pastor Steve Wagers officiating. The family will receive friends from 12pm until 2pm prior to the ceremony at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta.

A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Tamara was a graduate of Osborne High School. She had worked at the Cobb County Youth Detention Department as a Patrol Officer, and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Junior Fountain, a daughter, Makayla Raie Fountain, and 2 grandchildren.

Survivors include: Mother, Louise Fountain, Marietta, GA; 2 Daughters, Britney (Adam) Smith, and Heather (Ken) Haygood, 4 Grandchildren, Amber Smith, Kinsley Smith, Hunter Haygood, and Spencer Haygood, and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tamara Fountain's memory to West Cobb Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
