Sylvia Reece

Sylvia H. Reece, age 82, of Powder Springs, Georgia passed away September 18, 2020. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta with Bishop Tyrone Washington officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Smyrna, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Mickey Kay Ruffner Shirey, parents William and Versie (Mullins) Howard and brothers: David Howard, Michael Howard .

Sylvia was a native of Harriman, TN and has lived in Powder Springs, GA since 2003.

Survivors include: husband of 32 years: Buddy L. Reece of Powder Springs, GA; five children: Jamie (Gary) Priest of Marietta, GA, Marsha (Rick) Wadsworth of Powder Springs, GA, Jimmy (Shelly) Ruffner of Dallas, GA, Denise (Larry) Brock of Cartersville, GA and Laura (Mark) Youngblood of Dallas, GA; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister: Billie Mae Burnett of Knoxville, TN.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.

Pallbearers include: Jason Shinliver, Tony Brock, Andy Brock, Josh Goodwin, Jeremy Goodwin, Bill Lessig and Mason Youngblood.
