Sylvia Elizabeth Johnson

Sylvia “Libby” Johnson, 77, of Mableton passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015. Services will be 3pm Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rorie officiating. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Batesville, Arkansas and graduated from Batesville High School in 1956. She was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville. Before moving to Georgia 10 months ago, her caretaker was Lavada Coles. Mrs. Johnson moved to Mableton, Georgia to be with her caretakers, Jane Trevino, Cindy Clifford and Dimple Trevino. She was preceded in death by her husband, M.W. Johnston, three brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2pm until the time of service.
