Suzanne Parks

Suzanne Parks, age 66, of Marietta, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday, June 4, 2012 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta. Entombment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. A native of Michigan, Mrs. Parks moved to Macon, GA in 1977, and had lived in Marietta since 1987. She worked at the Southern College of Technology in Marietta for a number of years before retiring from the Atlanta College of Art. She was very active in many local organizations, including serving as a past president of the Cheatham Hill Community Club, the Friends and Neighbors Club, and served as new member chair for the Newcomers Club of Cobb County. Suzanne would like you to remember that she is “Profoundly Happy” and that the “porch light will always be on!” Survivors include: Husband, Keith A. Parks; 2 Daughters, Kimberly Schappaugh and husband Mark, Marietta, GA, and Christine Priest and husband Shaun, Kennesaw, GA; 4 Grandchildren, Nicholas and Sarah Schappaugh, and Madison and Carson Priest; Cousins, Carolyn Selby and Daniel Bastian.
