Susie L Alexander

On Monday, October 10, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Mrs. Susie (Beechie) Alexander was called home to be with the Lord. Susie Alexander was born April 1, 1929 on St. Simons Island, Georgia to the late Joe Armstrong and the late Lucinda Mathis.
At an early age she was baptized and became a member of the First African Baptist Church of St. Simons Island, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers: Molly Lee, Hanna Philson, Rosa Mae Thomas, James Armstrong, Marilyn Ramsey, Leroy Armstrong, Alex Armstrong, and Lucinda Armstrong; four children: Janie (Linda) Lopez, Shirley Armstrong, Eddie Alexander and Edna Alexander; and one grandson, Jay Roberson.
Susie leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Sarah Thomas, six children: Susan Davis (Duron), William (Billy) McDew, Sandra (Cookie) McWilliams (Clint), Charlie (Randy) McDew, Washington (Ricky) Alexander (Mary), and Gloria (Jada) Alexander Babrow; twenty-five grandchildren: Willie, Tonda, and Vincent Roberson; Carla Humphries; Jared Moses; Timica Favors; Monte Dixon; Telecia Taylor; Jermaine Ramsey; William Jr., Elaine, Marcus, and Jordan McDew; Staci, Traci, Tahj, and Starr Smith; Alisha Hubbard; Brendan and Jenna McDew; Ebony Gibson; Ashtin D'Motta, Jereme' Alexander; and Ivy Babrow; thirty-three great-grands and seven great-great-grands and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
