Susanna Swerdlin Comer

Suzanne Comer was born on August 22, 1959, in Miami, FL. From an early age, her vibrant personality and zest for life shone brightly. She later moved to Atlanta to attend college, where fate introduced her to Jack, the love of her life. The two shared 39 wonderful years of marriage, building a beautiful life together centered on family, love, and joy.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Suzanne was known for her heart, personality, and infectious laughter. She dedicated her life to her family, including her husband, Jack and their children, Marielle and Sam. She found immense joy in being a grandmother, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to her two young grandchildren. She was overjoyed with excitement for a third grandchild to soon join the family. Suzanne's warmth, kindness, and humor made her cherished by all who knew her, from lifelong friends to acquaintances who crossed her path.

A deeply creative soul, Suzanne had a gift for needlepoint, quilting, cooking, decorating, and collecting. Her artistry was admired by many and lives on in the beautiful pieces she left behind. She loved music, antiquing, traveling, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

Suzanne’s compassion, wit, and love for life made her the heart of every gathering. She will always be remembered for her memorable laugh, her radiant spirit, and the joy she brought to others.

A celebration of Suzanne’s life will be held at 11am on January 29, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in her memory. A reception with food and refreshments will follow immediately after the service at the funeral home.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her light, love, and the beautiful art and legacy she left behind.
