Susan Ann Donahue, age 73, of Smyrna, Georgia passed away February 24, 2021. Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will be held in Pennsylvania.
Susan Ann Donahue nee Scent was born to Bess and Francis Scent on October 17, 1947 and went to heaven on February 24, 2021.
Susan was an amazing mother and wife. Susan Donahue was released to the angels late Wednesday night and her earthly struggle was finished. She was dearly loved by Mema and Pop who simply adored her. She was little in stature… but Mom was a fighter—strong woman who, with Dad, raised strong daughters. She believed in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and her endless support and cheering for all of them, was unmatched. A talented musician, pianist, organist, and vocalist, Mom made a difference in so many people’s lives, having taught over 300 piano students over the years. Mom beat MS, breast cancer, and raising Shannon.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of nearly 56 years, John. Her three daughters: Michele, Shannon (Darby), and Heather (James). Seven grandchildren: Randy, John Ryan, Rebecca Ashley, Sammy, Brooke, Eireann and Riley. Six great grandchildren: Christian, Emma, Chloe, Alana, Dawsyn, and Maverick.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
