Suellen P. "Susie" Taylor

Suellen P. "Susie" Taylor, age 66, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 26, 2023, in Building A, at Due West United Methodist Church in Marietta with Pastor David Campbell, Rev. Alan Taylor, and Rev. Stephen Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

A lifelong resident of Cobb County, Mrs. Taylor lived most of her life in Smyrna before moving to the West Cobb area 25 years ago. She graduated from Wills High School in 1975, and has worked as a Legal Administrative Assistant for Davis Matthews and Quigley Law Firm for the past 35 years. She was also a member of Due West United Methodist Church where she was a handbell ringer in the choir. She enjoyed crafting, traveling, and was an AVID Georgia Bulldog Fan. The family requests that everyone wear red and black to the funeral service. She was preceded in death by her father, A. Julian Paschal, her sister, Marianne Paschal, and her in-laws, Bill and Shirley Taylor.

Survivors include: Husband of 36 years, Barry Taylor; Mother, Martha Paschal, Marietta, GA; 2 Sisters, Ginger (Marty) McClure, Rome, GA and Margie Paschal, Marietta, GA; 2 Nieces, Cassie Taylor and Cardie McClure; Nephew, Benjamin McClure; Brother and Sister-in-law, Alan (Deborah) Taylor; Many cousins, several "adopted" nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Due West United Methodist Church in Marietta, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susie Taylor's memory to the Calvary Children's Home or to the Due West Methodist Church Handbell Ministry.
