Stephen T Malinak

Stephen Thomas Malinak, age 66, of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away March 30, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta. Interment will follow at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia.
Mr. Malinak was a native of Savannah, GA an had lived most of his life in Cobb County. He attended Roswell Street Baptist Church and served in the Air Force Reserve. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He graduated with a Civil Engineering degree from Southern Tech and was employed by General Dynamics and The Georgia Department of Transportation. He enjoyed photography and playing golf. Mr. Malinak was preceded in death by his father, Chief Master Sergeant Frank Malinak.
He is survived by his wife: Gail Malinak; mother: Floy Malinak; son: Keith (Kari) Malinak; brother: Greg (Debbie) Malinak; three grandchildren: Azlin, Ezra and Zelie Malinak and one niece: Heather.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
