Stella Grace Meers, 101 yrs old, Born August 29, 1919 of Powder Springs, GA passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020. Family will receive friends during a visitation at West Cobb Funeral Home Marietta, GA on Tuesday December 8, 2020 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ron Burgess and Rev. Sam Ghetty officiating at the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM Cooper's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches, GA.

Grace "Granny" is survived by her daughter Juanita Garner (Tommy (deceased)) of Powder Springs, GA; sons Gary Meers of Zebulon, North Carolina and Donald Meers of Powder Springs, GA; grandchildren, Malissa, Rita, Beverly, Barbara, Craig, Jason, Billy, Todd, Angie, Michael, Eric, and Donald; numerous great-grand children, great-great-grand children, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband William Floyd Meers; Sons, Charles William "Bud" Meers (Carlene), and Billy Fred "Buck" Meers (Joyce); infant daughter. Brothers and sisters; Granny was the baby and last surviving child of 11 siblings.

Born in Suches, GA. Granny moved to Marietta, GA in 1947. She retired from Coats and Clark Thread Mill in Clarkdale, GA after working for 35 years. Granny loved the Lord and was a member of Cooper Creek Baptist Church, Suches,GA. Her family was the greatest love of her life. Granny's love and presence will be greatly missed by her family and friends. All arrangements are being handled by West Cobb Funeral Home Marietta, GA.
