Upon graduation, she attended Tuskegee University for about a year and soon thereafter obtained employment with the First Brands Corporation.
During her employment at First Brands, she made many lifelong friends, but one chance encounter with a gentleman by the name of Ashley Carr in 1998, changed her life for the best. Anyone who knows Simone knows that she will say the first thing that comes to mind. With that said, the first words she uttered to Ashley were, “I don’t want any of your raggedy pizza anyway.”
Upon meeting, Simone and Ashley developed a solid friendship and courtship which eventually led to a simple, private marriage ceremony on March 2, 2001. During that union, Simone completed her degree in Finance at Kennesaw State University and utilized those skills and talents in the banking industry with Truist Bank.
Throughout her life, Simone impacted several people and was a solid rock to many. Her superpowers include loyalty, straightforwardness, unwavering support, strength, humility, and an unmatched devotion to her husband, Ashley Carr.
