Shirley Jones McAllister

Mrs. Shirley Jones McAllister, age 75, of Dallas, GA passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, September 23rd at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs with Rev. Mike Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. She will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to the ceremony.
Born and raised in Greenville, AL, Mrs. McAllister lived in Cobb County for most of her life. She retired from the I.R.S. after 30 years of employment. She also enjoyed gardening, volunteering as a Candy Striper at Kennestone Hospital, and serving as a greeter at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs.

5 Grandchildren: Kimberly (Jason) Arrowood, Mark Kellett, Mitchell Kellett, Ryan Kellett and Hannah Butts
4 Great Grandchildren: Anna Grace Arrowood, Sophie Marie Arrowood, Merritt Jeremiah Arrowood and Audrey Claire Arrowood
