Sheryl Darlene Blalock

Darlene Blalock, age 66, of White, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Sanctuary Church in Kennesaw with Rev. Kevin Osborn officiating. Interment will follow on Monday, November 2nd at 2:30pm at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton.

A native of Marietta, Mrs. Blalock had recently moved to White, GA. She worked as an LPN for 28 years with several hospitals and doctor's offices around Cobb County. She was also a faithful member of Radiant Life Assembly of God in Powder Springs, where she was a Board Member and ran the food ministries. She also enjoyed taking mission trips with the church to provide medical assistance to those in need. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, and loved cooking for and taking care of her family and nurturing others.

Survivors include:5 Children, Jimmy Paul Blalock Jr., Marietta, GA, Mark Stephen Blalock, Marietta, GA, Matthew Shane (Nici) Blalock, Woodstock, GA, Quentin Adam Blalock, Marietta, GA and Julie Talitha (Bryan) Blalock Jordan, White, GA; 3 Siblings, Robert Eugene Curry, Marietta, GA, Julian Derrick Curry, Sr., Carrollton, GA and Cathy Curry Bolton, Marietta, GA; Grandchildren, Caleb Blalock, Shay Blalock, Breanna Jordan, Brendan Blalock, Adreanna Bilaki, Dalainey Blalock, Aidan Blalock and Chase Blalock; 3 Great Grandchildren, Ellie Stidham, Colson Blalock and Gibson Dupaquier; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darlene Blalock's memory to Radiant Life Assembly of God or to the American Heart Association.
