Sherrie A. Ritchie

Sherrie A. Ritchie, age 86, of Austell, Georgia passed away October 15, 2023. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 20, 2023 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband David Junior Ritchie.

Mrs. Ritchie was a native of Luthersville, GA. resided in East Point, GA most of her life before moving to Austell and Duluth, Ga. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved to shop, travel and spend time with her family and friends. She has never met a stranger.

Survivors include: three children: Ricky (Rhonda) Ritchie of Fayetteville, GA, Susan Wallace of Loganville, GA and Chris Ritchie Jonesboro, GA; six grandchildren: David Wallace, Chad Ritchie, Chaz Ritchie, Burt Ritchie, Kristen Wallace and Kayla Opeka and fifteen great-grandchildren; two nieces: Carolyn Blanton and Gayle Blanton; two nephews: Charles Edwards and Wayne Edwards.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, Georgia.
