Shelia L. James, age 55, of Marietta, Georgia passed away July 6, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta, GA. Interment will follow at Mount Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, GA.
Shelia was a native of Virginia Beach, VA and had lived in Marietta, GA since 1998. Shelia loved playing computer games, she never met a stranger and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a beautiful smile and her laughter filled our hearts with joy. Most importantly she enjoyed her crab feasts!
Survivors include: three children: Candi (Charlie) Staton, Darrell James and Me'Lisa James; mother: Rosa Washington; father: Jesse Staton; brothers and sisters: Kinneird (Morris) Staton, Emily (Gary) McCoy, Bernard (Kimberly) Staton and Sharon (Tyrone) Walker; three grandchildren: Jalen Lewis, Cayden Tucker and Aaliyah James and several nieces and nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
