Shelby Ralph Salmon

Shelby Ralph Salmon, age 87, of Dallas, Georgia passed away December 13, 2019. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, December 15, 2019 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel in Marietta. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his son Shelly Ralph Salmon, Jr.
Shelby was a native of Kentucky who lived in Indiana before moving to Dallas, Georgia 15 years ago. He retired from Fina Oil and Chemical Company in Calumet City, Illinois as a Plant Manager. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include: wife of 68 years: JoAnn Salmon of Dallas, GA; seven children: Vickie (Tom) Thompson of Texas, Connie (Bill) White of South Carolina, Kirk (Lisa) Salmon of Iowa, Tammie (Tim) Gentry of Nevada, Greg (Ellen) Salmon of Indiana and Terri (Ricky) Ledbetter of Georgia; seventeen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta.
