Shelby Jean Hobby

Shelby Jean Masters Hobby, age 80, of Smyrna, GA passed away Friday, April 7, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Richard Hemphill officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

A native of Brevard, NC, Mrs. Hobby moved to Cobb County in 1969. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church, and enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, and was a loving neighborhood childcare provider. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Billy Hobby, and a grandson, Billy Caleb Hobby.
